Don't let your spiritual muscles go into atrophy from lack of use. 3289

Live it.
Sometimes it's easy and sometimes hard to know the right thing to do. But when we don't do anything for fear of doing the wrong thing, that too may be the wrong thing. The world is full of reminders of things we shouldn't do, such as don't walk, don't run, don't enter, don't loiter, and my favorite, don't touch. Doesn't that sign make you want to reach out and touch it? Most people mistakenly believe the Ten Commandments are a list of negative things we ought not do, but some, such as honor your father and mother and remember the Sabbath Day and keep it holy, are positive.
Would you please stop thinking about the pink elephant and pay attention? Waiting... Ok, maybe I can break the spell by mentioning a purple people-eater. Waiting... Give up on the elephant, will you? The fact is, most of us can't, so why is that? Quite simply we've seen the elephant, but don't have a mental picture of what the other looks like. Therefore, most of us won't think about something unless we can construct an image in our mind and fixate on it. That's really hard to do, but there's no doubt our mind will be led astray by where our eyes wander and on that which our mind ponders. So, let me ask you, when you stand before God, will you trust a list of things you didn't do, or the positive things you did instead. Just Thinkin'...
Pray it
Help me to see what You see and know what You want, so I can fixate on it and learn to do it.
