What you think is right is left to someone else. 3841

Learn it.
Self-imposed danger.
Live it.
A few years ago, my wife and I enjoyed a weekend retreat in middle Arkansas located at the base of a mountain. We used binoculars to look round the beautiful landscape hoping to catch a sight of wildlife, but we weren't prepared for seeing a deer trapped on a ledge near the top of a mountain. We were told that while the deer easily navigated down to his precarious position, he might not be able to get back to safety without help. Too often that help came in the form of a predator.
On a similar note, we were recently asked to watch our teen-aged grandkids while their mother enjoyed a couple of days out of town. On our first night of duty, I came home and asked Mimi how her day was and all she could do was shake her head. Now, she hadn't been the fashion police in double digit years, but no sooner than mom had left the house, she was tested. One of the girls trotted out in a dress (for lack of a better word) that was smaller than a headband. When told she couldn't go out that way, she explained that she had bought it with her own money and was planning to wear leggins with it. You know, one morning in Arkansas, we got up and our deer was gone from his ledge. We pretended it made its escape during the night, but truth be known, we feared the worst.
Pray it
I confess it's not doing the impossible that concerns me as much as doing the possible.
