Who knows God well enough to question Him? 3842

Learn it.
Why.
Live it.
Everyone has their questions when something bad happens: "Why did God let this happen; why now; why must good people suffer; why doesn't God stop sin?" It's strange how we revere our choice over God's sovereignty, but still hold Him responsible like He's some sort of puppet master.
Listening to sports talk radio more than anything else these days, I notice how people are baited into phoning in and giving the so-called pundits new material. Recently I heard these arm-chair coaches criticize a certain professional player saying he is paid so much money, he should display skills worthy of his pay. Within a week that player's team won seven unlikely games in a row. The radio jocks then criticized the team for not winning games by enough margin. It was then I understood something just as true in life as in sports. When things are bad, we whine; when they're good we complain and when it's neither, we will critique - someone else.
Pray it
God, You are faithful and true; forgive me for being faithful to question You.
