Those who are Grieving

"Do not let your heart be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." John 14:1-3

Reveal the worth of those who feel they are beyond usefulness. Ps 31:9-15

Give hope to those who know failure & loss without remedy. Ecc 1:18

Cover their loss with the comfort of Jesus' empathy. Is 53:3

Convert the sadness of the incurable into determination to survive. Jer 10:1

Grant peace to those who can't "fix" things for their loved ones. Mat 23:37

Turn disappointment with friends into opportunities to serve God. John 14:9

Overcome worry and discontent with God's peace. John 14:27

Grant mercy & grace in time of need. Heb 4:15,16

Give vision of glory when called to suffer. 1 Pet 4:13, 2 Cor 4:17

Serve God while we're alive, even though we are homesick. 2 Cor 4:16- 5:10

Stand firm, knowing our labor is not in vain. 1 Cor 15:58

They are purchased at a price and belong to God. Rom 14:7-8

Do not worry over things which will burn up. Luke 12:15

He loves us in despair, even when it seems hopeless. Isa 54:10

Sometime the OLD must go to make way for the NEW. Isa 43:18,19

Replace a crushed spirit with a cheerful heart. Pr 17:22
