Scripture: They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.

Sample Prayer: Give them desire to join a prayer team that ministers to others in Your Name.

Scripture: But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him.

Sample Prayer: Give them a reputation for godliness and obedience that spreads at home and around the world.

Scripture: For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life.

Sample Prayer: Make their witness one where others want to be like them and thereby be like Jesus.

Scripture: Therefore, holy brothers, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, the apostle and high priest whom we confess.

Sample Prayer: Help them keep their eyes on Jesus and not what everyone else is doing - especially those who are living according to the standards of the world.

Scripture: Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?

Sample Prayer: Demonstrate through them the confidence that a person can live in the world and yet be separate from it.

Scripture: Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

Sample Prayer: Keep them strong and encouraged even in the midst of heartache and disappointment. Don't let them concentrate on their failure, but see the value of a broken vessel releasing the fragrance of the Holy Spirit to others.

Scripture: I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.

Scripture: Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

Sample Prayer: Give them work to do and a passion to complete what they start with diligence.

Scripture: Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong.

Sample Prayer: Help them be firm in the faith, strong and courageous in everything they do.

Scripture: Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Sample Prayer: Teach them to trust and delight in you. Change their desires to be the same as Yours.

Scripture: He will respond to the prayer of the destitute; he will not despise their plea.

Sample Prayer: Teach them to respond to situations by showing others how much You love them. Tell them when it's time to pray and when it's time to get up and work.

Scripture: They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

Sample Prayer: May their heart be solely fixed on Your holy word and their passion be anchored in Your own.

Scripture: Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts...

Sample Prayer: Don't let them forget the importance of spending time with brothers and sisters in the Lord. Give them joy through that which they generate in others.

Scripture: ...praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people

Sample Prayer: May their testimony not be distracting to the Gospel but instead give others reason to brag on You.

Scripture: And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

Sample Prayer: As a result of their normal living in the body of Christ, may the lost around them be saved. May the growth of new members be genuine and not one built on numbers, but on single lives changed throughYour grace.
