Those who are Sick

"Is anyone sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective." Jas 5:14-16

Let no bitter root grow which leads to physical ailments. Heb 12:15

Deliver hope to the hopeless; teach proper expectation. Prov 13:12; Ps 62:5

Resistance to God and His authority brings trouble. Isa 1:4-6

Turn to God who gives help and true hope for problems. Ps 121

Protect them from infection. Ps 5:11-12

Deliver them through imminent peril. Ps 57:1

Show them hope through the valley of the shadow of death. Ps 23:4

Ease their suffering by teaching them to pray for others. Ps119:153; Job 41:7-10

Give them peaceful sleep without fear. Ps 4:8

Give a strong mind with good memory. Ps 13:2

Give them rapid recovery which amazes onlookers. Ps 18:16

Strengthen the weak with Your peace. Ps 19:32,33, Ps 29:11

Visit those lonely ones with troubled hearts. Ps 25:16,17

Steady the elderly, the blind, those with arthritis. Ps 31:9-10

Keep them alive, even when they cannot eat. Ps 33:18-22

Brace the legs of the crippled. Ps 37:23,24

Encrease their tolerance for pain, hypertension. Ps 38:7-10

Place a song in their heart. Ps 40:3

Teach them to trust you, not doctors. Ps 56:3,4

Defeat the disease that attempts to destroy the body. Isa 54:16,17
